Taking care of injuries and preventative healthcare has always been a passion of mine and I used to tell people that if I could do it all again, I'd be a doctor. In reality though, I'm on the exact path I should be - life/health/wellness coach and clinical herbalist-in-training. The gentle, yet powerful action of herbs, and the efficacy of coaching to make positive changes in peoples' lives never fails to amaze me, and it feels exactly right as I work with these tools to serve and support others on their health journey.
I started working with herbs almost 20 years ago as a community-style herbalist, mostly caring for family and friends through the years with salves and syrups, and finally decided to formalize my training to become a Clinical Herbalist, a professional in the phytotherapy field. I'm in my last year of training, and just love the interaction of plants and people. About 7 years ago, I also did my Life Coach certification training, which gave me valuable tools in ways to help with goal-setting, actively reducing stress, how to lead a more mindful/present life, and how to make the changes necessary for an individual to move forward on their path. Integrating both coaching and medical herbalism feels intuitively right for me, and enables me to serve you in a holistic way, addressing root causes and offering many tools for you to use to achieve your goals in an effective, sustainable, well-rounded approach.
On a more personal level, I've taught yoga for a decade, am happily married and a mom to 3 incredible adult children, one of whom has special needs. Search for ways to help her set me onto this path.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you to achieve your health goals and overall wellness, mind, body, and spirit. Sign up for my newsletter below and let's book a discovery call!
